Description

The Linear Amplifier board is intended to be a high-frequency op-amp based signal amplifier with adjustable gain setting. Its intended use is for amplifying the voltage output from the DDS generators or other analog circuits in which an output pk-pk voltage of up to 36V at 100 mA is desired. The board will run on a 12V DC to allow easy input power measurements.

10.1 Cascode Class B Power Amplifier
The Cascode Class B Power Amplifier is meant to amplify analog signals at higher power. This design is based on the Cascode high voltage output stage design and is aimed to achieve an output bandwidth of at least 500 kHz at 150V minimum. The design has still not been fully specified but will be a powerful addition to the family of analog circuitry for experimenters, as there are few if any, high frequency, high voltage power amplifiers available for an affordable price.
